My last wedding of ‘08! Victoria and Matt were married at St. Mary of the Assumption with the reception taking place at Veronique, all in Brookline, MA.

Something borrowed.

Victoria and Matt decided to get their formals done before the ceremony, so he was blindfolded and we headed to Larz Anderson Park, for the Big Reveal!

They love Guitar Hero.

Recently Suzi and I had a can’t miss opportunity: my friend and photographer extraordinaire Erin Curran needed someone to look after her two dogs while she and her family went to New York to see the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. We were happy to oblige!
Regis!

Bronson! Suzi kept calling him Michael Phelps.

Our ferret, Kaylee. The dogs were scared of her. Because she rules.

I like being sneaky.
Jona and Todd love going to museums and viewing art, so I thought it would be a natural fit to do their engagement shoot inside Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts. I love that place! Here’s where being an unobtrusive shooter came into play: no flash is allowed inside the museum, so it was up to me to get some great shots of them in difficult lighting conditions and without interrupting the other people’s experiences inside the museum. Check these out:

Once the museum closed we did a few outside.

Just a quickie post- here’s a few pictures I shot for the cover band Third Stone. I happened to know their new lead guitar player. The Boston music scene is pretty small!

Fresh off winning the WBCN Rock n’ Roll Rumble, Girls, Guns and Glory hired me to shoot some promotional photographs for them. Here’s a few from the studio and on location.

I’ll be shooting them once more during the Boston Music Awards this Sunday, December 7th. Good luck, guys!

Suzi and I went to vote early this morning. There was a sizable line out the door at 7:30am! The line moved quickly, but it was still 45 minutes before we were out. Check it:

My lovely wife.

I’m a little grizzly in the morning. Photo by Suzi.

Every year my wife Suzi and I like to dress up for Halloween. We pretend like we’re not old. This year, Suzi was a peacock:

I’m usually pretty picky about my costume. I like it to be comfortable, not too expensive to make myself, and semi-obscure/geeky. I can get a little obsessive over details, like three years ago when I combed through footage to get the right font and color for my nametag on my Shaun of the Dead costume. However, this year I was sick for most of the week so I didn’t have much of a chance to work on the details for my Dr. Horrible costume. Ah well, close enough!
